CR-5000 is Zuken's printed circuit board (PCB) and advanced packaging layout suite of customizable tools aimed at the Enterprise market. With the software component Import CR-5000 the following design design files are converted into STEP:
- PCB ASCII File (PCF extension) - the ASCII file describing the contents of the PCB Database;
- Footprint ASCII File (FTF extension) - the ASCII file describing the contents of the Footprint Library.
This feature imports the following PCB and Printed Circuit Assembly (PCA) data (it is possible to import PCA data only):
- detailed layout data of the PCB (layers, tracks, pads, physical nets, thickness, etc.);
- PCA layout data (assembly, networks);
- assembly information (parts, packages, lands, vias, keep-out areas, board-outline, etc.);
- technology (Surface Mount Device (SMD), through hole, etc.);
- full graphical information (2D).
Import feature is fully compliant
with the ISO 10303-210 conformance classes (cc):
- cc8 - Assembly Physical Design;
- cc9 - Interconnect Design.
