With the IDA-STEP Electronics release v4.1 all the software components on Electronics are updated for the new 2nd edition of ISO 10303-210, Electronic Assembly Interconnect and Packaging Design or in short AP210. This release closes the bridge between proprietary and standard data formats for the electronic industry.
The Electronics component provides common functionality to deal with AP210, including printing, CircuitCAM export, 3D extrusion, CSV export and more. Based on the Electronics component a number of Importers are available for popular PCB-CAD systems from Mentor Graphics, Cadence, Zuken and CadSoft.
