In addition to our free Viewer Basic we
also offer you a free 30 evaluation license of IDA-STEP Viewer Pro
3D. The only condition - you have to fill out a survey.
Your answers will be kept strictly
confidential within LKSoftWare GmbH. No one outside of LKSoftWare GmbH will be able to see your
individual answers, including you yourself. Your answers will be used primarily to further improve IDA-STEP. But we also intend to provide anonymous statistical summaries
to the responsible STEP standarization committe ISO TC184/SC4 "Automation systems
and integration - Industrial data". This may help to improve the STEP standard further.
This is what you have to do:
- Register yourself in our online
shop. Note that you don't need to buy
anything.
- Once you are locked into the online
shop click on "Trial license" in the left menu.
- The survey is split into two parts.
Fill out the first part "STEP Survey". At the end of the
survey a 7 day evaluation license is created for you.
- Now you can install IDA-STEP (if you
not have already done so) and enter the provided license ID in the
Help /Register Updated and install" dialogue. This will install
the IDA-STEP Viewer Pro 3D on your PC. After this you are ready to
explore your favorite STEP files.
- After a while you are good to extend
your license for a full 30 day period. For this please come back to
our online shop and log in with the account you have created before
(1). Press again on "Trial license" in the left menu and
then click on "Survey to extend trial license". With this
second part of the survey we want to hear your feedback on IDA-STEP
Viewer Pro.
Once the Viewer Pro 3D license has
expired IDA-STEP will continue to work as free Viewer Basic. If you
wish you can at any time enter our online shop and turn your
evaluation license into a regular one.
